Happy Tuesday.........

All right, let me get to today's post. Betsy has given us the task this month to follow a layout for a 6x6 Scrapbook page. Well, I had never ever done a Scrapbook page in my life so this one was really hard for me ;P. No , really, it was hard for me. But guess what, I managed to do a little something and I might add that I am all right with the outcome if you consider this being my VERY FIRST time :D:D:D.





Scrapbook Layout "Road trip Are we there yet?"







Recipe:


Paper: Little Yellow Bicycle, DCWV light blue textured cardstock for the base


Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink Faded Jeans to ink up the distressed and torn edges


Stamps: 4x4 photoslide (included in the now available Summer Kit) the word Escape from the Picturesque stamp sheet


Accessories: Heidi Swapp ghost shapes tags which were colored with Ranger Alcohol inks in orange, corner rounder. Heidi Swapp brads and buttons.

So, if this was not enough we also were asked to make a tote/ card holder box and here is what I came up with

Recipe:
Paper: Base Blue cardstock from my stash coordinating with the LYB Designer Paper, PTI white

Ink: Tim Holtz distress ink Faded Jeans, VersaMark

Stamps: Australian Daisy in all 3 sizes for dimension, Flourishing Ivy which is also a new release

Accessories: Martha Stewart Lace Border Punch, Heidi Swapp tiny buttons, white Stampendeous embossing powder, decorative pewter brads from Joann's, Nesties small scalloped ovals , white grosgrain ribbon, handmade stickpin, Crop-a-dile , magnetic closure


That is it!!!! Pretty simple and guess what? We even have a template for you. Yep, Betsy came up with this template and it is as easy as can get.

cut 9 x 12 cardstock of choice
on the short side:
score: 1", 5 3/4", 1"
on the long side:
score: 1", 4 1/2", 1" 4 1/2"
Assemble as desired.

Hello Sabrina - I love your scrapbook page - I am only fairly new to stamping and I have to say - this page is gorgeous!! I love the colours and all of the dimension you have added to it - Fabulous Sabrina - you are a natural - now we want to see it on the Gallery with a photo in it!! I have gotten away from scrapping, but having a template sure makes it easy! Lovely tote! Love how you layered the daisy!

I'd never guess it was your first scrapbook page - looks fantastic. But I looooove that card tote. Not sure why, but the daisy reminds me of an Edelweiss on this....LOVE it!!!!
